Rachel Doyle, owner at Rara Photography | Digital Marketing Brokerage runs her successful creative studio in the centre of Carlow Town for almost 5 years now. Having won “Best Established Business” for County Carlow in Irelands Best Young Entrepreneur 2015, her business has sky-rocketed, welcoming new clients daily. She particularly enjoys tackling new challenges and meeting new faces at the studio. Her business is focused primarily on 3 main skills – Photography, Web Design & Digital Marketing. But first, how did she get here?

Having gained a 2.1 (Hons) degree in Pharmacology from UCD Ireland, graduating in 2009, it didn’t take long to realise that her creativity would only be lost in a science lab. Her photography dream started in January 2011 when she crossed paths with a fellow photographer, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the process. Starting out as an assistant, she quickly worked up to becoming a fashion stylist, and worked in Ireland and the UK with names like Natasha Hamilton, Christine McGuiness, The Hardy Bucks and Olympic Gold medallist Luke Campbell. She also established her own fashion page in The Nationalist newspaper, where she talked readers through her styled shoots, showing imagery in her editorial “Get the Look”.

Always wanting more, Rachel’s determination to succeed grew exponentially when she landed a job in 2012 (until May 2014) with renowned fashionista Elaine Curtis. Elaine took Rachel into the fold and really put her through the paces, proving to be an extremely hard taskmaster. But all of this hard work paid off, and before long Rachel had become a specialist in product and lifestyle photography, digital marketing, website management & graphic design for Elaine’s buzzing Boutique. Her eye for fashion and style, and attention to detail really grew here.

In 2013, Rachel launched her own photography studio in Carlow town centre. A fresh and inspired undertaking, it maintains a quirky and welcoming vibe throughout. Her guilty pleasure is conceptual and product photography, having worked with big Irish/UK names like Walsh Whiskey, Blaithin Ennis, Inis Fragrances etc. Rachel is a perfectionist, and all of her work is finished to magazine standard. Since opening her studio, it could be said that Rachel has become her own biggest taskmaster.

She has had product/lifestyle and editorial photography featured in numerous well-known publications such as Life Magazine, Image Magazine, Irish & UK Tatler, Social & Personal, Xpose Magazine, Weekend Magazine, Sunday World Magazine, En Vie Magazine and Sessions Magazine, not to mention featured in International airports and music venues. She has also provided press imagery to major Irish DJs including Sarah Lennox, Maria Healy, Emma Dilemma and Aeonism, and worked with names such as Neil Delamere & Geared Farrelly.

In addition to all this, her skills in digital marketing and web design really packs a punch, increasing brand awareness and positioning for many other businesses small and large offering monthly packages tailored to suit each individual brand. Her team of in-house models, Hair stylists and Makeup Artists (when needed) which are key to the standard of her work.

Rachels charitable nature VS her skills have given charities such at Cuan Mhuire over €2000 from photography projects which heavily engaged the general public and exploited the power of social media. She welcomes new charitable projects at any time please don’t hesitate to ask.

Aside her busy work life, Rachel is currently training to be a yoga teacher as it has brought her the balance she needs to keep her business fresh & positioned in the current market. An enthusiastic powerhouse, to say the very least, Rachel would be delighted to hear from you.
