Communions & Confirmations

Welcome to “Communions & Confirmations” at Rara Photography! Every year from February to June the madness begins & we are busy bees at the studio capturing these special days! So you have a couple of options here, studio sessions last approximately 30mins on the day of the event, as the studio is located just across from the Cathedral in Carlow Town, if its a nice day we can pop over to St. Patricks College beside the cathedral for some outdoor shots which will be the same price – €125 including two 8×12″ and two 6×4″ prints. If you book me to travel to you on the day outside the studio it costs €200 including two 8×12″ prints (max 1 hour photoshoot). Additional copies start at €20 each, digital copies cost €25 per image. NEED A MODEL PORTFOLIO?

Well you’ve come to the right place! Here at the studio I shoot natural portfolios which is what agencies want, they want to see how naturally beautiful you are and what they have to work with! Let’s face it, we can all look a million dollars when we put hours of prep into our appearance however we’re not all model material without it! So prior to shooting we will have a style consultation which is free, we try and shoot 3-6 looks on the day to show how well you work in front of the camera. I will guide you through the shoot and make you feel comfortable so there is no need to worry or feel nervous. Portfolios include 5 retouched images with the option to purchase more. Please note, shots will not be airbrushed or body manipulated as need to be true representation for agency requirements. Here are some samples from portfolios shot recently :

2ND PLACE IHF PHOTOGRAPHIC AWARDS

I shoot a lot of hair styles for many hair salons located around the county, these shots are used for print advertising in shop windows, social media posts, website banners and staff profiles! I was delighted when Denise from Rustiq Hair Salons approached me to shoot their latest campaigns. With great team work the girls did amazing in many of the categories at the IHF competition and we were delighted that the photographic collection campaign 2nd place.
